Hugh Jackman has pleaded for help after his friend disappeared under mysterious circumstances.
The Wolverine actor, 55, took to Instagram to beg for anyone with knowledge of what happened to come forward after Broadway star Zelig Williams vanished eight days ago.
Hamilton and MJ The Musical star Williams, 28, was last seen eight days ago when he left his South Carolina home on October 3 at 9am.
The performer’s family grew concerned when they were made aware of an SOS alert sent from his phone just 10 minutes after he left.
A friend of Williams received a ping, which, as reported by People, indicated a crash had occurred after he was spotted driving around Congaree National Park.
He was reported missing officially the next day when his loved ones were unable to get hold of him, with Williams’ car found abandoned.
It has since been confirmed by Sheriff Leon Lott that police are investigating the case with possible foul play involved.
Taking to his social media today, Jackman wrote to his 34.5million followers: ‘Please . . . if anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of Zelig Williams please reach out to your local authorities.
‘Zelig we love you and are praying for your safe return. Please pass this message on.’

Before his disappearance, Williams had moved back to New York to work as a dance coach in his hometown of South Carolina.
Officials are now searching for him using helicopters, boats, and drones.
Speaking to Wistv.com, authorities said: ‘We’ve searched on foot in the air of various locations.
‘Other investigative techniques that we will use involve cell phones and some other things that I don’t want to discuss at this point.’
The Sheriff added that Williams requires prescription medication.
Mieoki Corbin-Jacobs, Williams’ cousin, also told the publication: ‘We can’t describe it. It’s devastation.
‘It’s devastation for someone who is so close to his family to just disappear like that… there’s no way to describe it.’
The heartbreaking news comes after Jackman, who announced his split from wife Deborra-Lee Furness, 68, in September last year, announced a concert.
Sharing the news, the actor, who is now navigating life as a bachelor, took to Instagram with the poster for his show titled Live from New York with Love.
The photo shows the X-Men star looking dapper and smiling in a suit while walking outside Radio City Music Hall.
He has announced several live dates for 2025.
