iSam Thompson has revealed he’s been in hospital with a concerning photo posted to Instagram.
The Made In Chelsea star, who was crowned King of the Jungle in 2023, shared an image of an IV in his arm to his story, captioning the post ‘Not had the best Bank Holiday weekend.’
He followed up the post with another, since deleted, that explained that he was in hospital because he’s been trying to do so many things at once and it ‘caught up with him.’
While it’s unclear what affliction Thompson is suffering from, he seems to imply that exhaustion is at least a part of the equation.
The TV star is fresh off a hectic UK tour with his podcast co-host, The Only Way is Essex star Pete Wicks, in April for their Staying Relevant Tour.
Thompson has also officially joined the voice cast of the sequel to one of Disney Pixar’s most beloved films: Inside Out 2.
Thompson recently revealed that he’s been cast in one of the most anticipated sequels of the year, which also stars Amy Poehler, Maya Hawke, and Kyle MacLachlan.
He’s set to voice a new character, Security Man Sam, who joins up with Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, as well as new emotions Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment.
A statement from Thompson made it clear that he’s delighted to have a chance to appear in the film.
‘Having watched Pixar films since I was a kid, it’s a dream come true to join the voice cast of Inside Out 2. The film nods to the rollercoaster of emotions growing up and what a wild ride your teenage years can be.’
He continued: ‘I for one can’t wait to see my family’s reaction to hearing my voice on the big screen.’
Thompson, who has been in a relationship with Love Island and Strictly Come Dancing star Zara McDermott, has mostly spent his career on the British reality TV circuit, so the role is a new step for him.

iDanielle Fogarty, daughter of famed British motorcyclist Carl Fogarty, has shared the ‘scary’ moment she discovered her house had been invaded.
The 32-year-old daughter of the former I’m A Celeb winner is married to Ex on the Beach star Ross Worswick, 35. The loved-up couple – who have been dating since 2018 – share two infant sons, Mason and Maddox.
The social media influencer took to Instagram to share the ‘nightmare’ situation of their house being ‘broken into’ to her 214,000 followers.
She uploaded a black and white photo of the young family-of-four all smiling and overlaid with text recounting what happened while her ‘boys were asleep’.
‘Taking time out to spend with what matters in life…family,’ she started the emotional message.
‘Our beautiful family home got broken into while our boys were asleep and grandparents looking after them while we were out for a quick dinner,’ she explained.
‘As you can imagine, this is a living nightmare for us all and the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced.’
She confirmed that ‘everybody is unharmed and that is all that matter.’ But the family remain unsettled.
Danielle continued: ‘I know that, in time, the emotions we’re feeling will pass and our home will feel the way it once did. Everyone please be careful and stay safe. The world can be such a scary place.’
She gave birth to her youngest son, Maddox in July 2023 and underwent an emergency c-section.
‘I didn’t really have anytime to think about it, it was all very chaotic and before I knew it I woke up and he was there,’ she said about the birthing experience.
‘Obviously it’s not the outcome I wanted as me and Ross both missed Maddox being born as I had to be put to sleep, but he was safe and that’s the main thing.’
Danielle’s father Carl, 58, also known as Foggy, is one of the most successful superbikers. He won I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2014 and was awarded an MBE in 1998.
Meanwhile, Danielle’s sister Claudia, 29, rose to fame as a season nine contestant on Love Island.
Last year Claudia shared her own terrible experience after her car windows were smashed in and all her make-up was stolen.
‘So, I went to put on my make up this morning and realised my make up bag was… in the car. So now I have no make up, and no car!’ she said at the time and shared an image of the destroyed windows to her followers.

iSam Thompson has officially joined the voice cast of the sequel to one of Disney Pixar’s most beloved films: Inside Out 2.
The Made In Chelsea star, 31, who was in the E4 reality series between 2013 and 2021, was also crowned King of the Jungle in the most recent edition of I’m A Celeb.
And now he’s setting his sights on Hollywood, having been cast in one of the most anticipated film of the year, which also stars Amy Poehler, Maya Hawke, and Kyle MacLachlan.
He’s set to voice a new character, Security Man Sam, who joins up with Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, as well as new emotions Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment.
A statement from Sam beamed with delight at the prospect of being involved with the movie production company which has defined millions of childhoods since the 1990s.
Sam, who has been in a relationship with Love Island and Strictly Come Dancing star Zara McDermott, has mostly spent his career on the British reality TV circuit.
After breaking out through Made In Chelsea, he was a housemate on Celebrity Big Brother 20, eventually finishing third in the contest behind the winner, the late Sarah Harding.
He then appeared on Celebrity Dating, Celebrity Coach Trip 4, and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, before joining The Celebrity Circle in 2021.
After leaving Made In Chelsea in 2022, he began hosting a radio show on Hits Radio, joined the panel on Love Island: Aftersun, and began presenting the Love Island podcast, the Morning After.
Inside Out followed the story of 11-year-old girl Riley as she leaves her childhood home, with the film showing how her internal emotions reacted to the events while trying to solve problems of their own.
The animated film was a critical and commercial success in 2015, becoming one of the highest grossing films of the year while also finishing second on Rotten Tomatoes’ best rated films countdown.
Now, its sequel, which will hit cinemas in June 2024 – nine years after the original – picks up with Riley as a teenager, navigating new emotions as she enters high school.

iFormer I’m A Celebrity star Tony Bellew has taken a scathing shot at Strictly Come Dancing.
The 41-year-old retired boxer, who was the runner-up last year on the ITV reality show, has insisted a stint on the ballroom floor would be a very different prospect to the Australian jungle.
Tony has been married to wife Rachael since 2018, and he appeared to reference the Strictly Curse when asked if he’d ever go on the show.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, he quipped: ‘No, I don’t think Strictly is for me. I’m planning on staying married.’
Over the years, the so-called curse has seen some relationships become strained, with celebrity contestants and pros sometimes finding a romantic spark.

Tony’s I’m A Celebrity stint was the first time he and Rachael had been apart for a lengthy period in 22 years, and he’s not willing to take any risks on Strictly.
Not everyone thinks the show is to blame for any breakups, with judge Revel Horwood insisting it’s actually a sign of something deeper.
He previously told the newspaper: ‘I don’t think it’s a curse or anything to do with Strictly.
‘I think it’s just about, if people were to split up, their marriage must’ve been on the rocks anyway, for anything else to occur.
‘If people are happy in their relationship, they very rarely go off with someone else.’
However, former Strictly pro James Jordan – who has been married to fellow dancer Ola Jordan for 20 years – has pointed out how close the pairs are from the very first day of rehearsals.
‘You’re very close, aren’t you? Day one, you come in and you’re literally rubbing up on each other, groin to groin,’ he told The Sun. ‘You just met them and you’re rubbing your crown jewels up against them.’
He noted while ‘it’s normal’ for dancers, anyone coming from the outside world may be caught off guard by the intimacy.
He added: ‘You’re so close to each other, dancing sexy, and there’s nice music and you’re training with each other for eight hours a day, so if there is a little bit of chemistry, something’s going to happen.’
Still, James shrugged off the idea of an actual ‘curse’, insisting that sparks flying in rehearsals is the same as any other workplace romances.
‘It’s no different to any office in London or wherever, where John’s copping off with Sue around the corner,’ he added. ‘It happens in all walks of life. It just so happens that Strictly is on TV, so people are digging to find more.’

iI’m A Celebrity and First Dates star Fred Sirieix has spoken about how he’d love to join the cast of EastEnders.
The TV personality, who works as a maître d’ on the Channel 4 show, also features on BBC Two’s Million Pound Menu.
He has been engaged to partner Fruitcake since 2020. Fred is the father of Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, a British professional diver.
Away from his work in the hospitality and catering industry, Fred has been pondering over developing an acting career. Recently, he revealed that he has thought about being a part of EastEnders for so long, he’s even developed his own storyline!
‘That’d be amazing. That would be fantastic. [I’d love to be in] EastEnders. I can see myself, I’ve already written the lines actually’.
Sorry, this video isn't available any more.
Continuing his chat with The Sun, Fred revealed: ‘I’d be playing I think a gangster. We just arrive there and then, I get killed’.
Clearly ready to put this plot into action, Fred added: ‘And there’s lots of things happening in between but at the end, I get killed and disappear and never be seen again in the square.’
‘We’re all a bit actors aren’t we?’, he continued.
‘I mean, in the restaurant industry that I spend all my life in, you know, you’ve got to be all things for all people, and you got to be there for your guests. So effectively, you’re kind of an actor you’re putting on a show every single day. But yes, being an actor in a movie would be amazing.’
Away from his role in First Dates, Fred is often seen heading on adventures with Gino D’Campo and Gordon Ramsay, in the ITV travel show Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip.
Fred starred in last year’s series of I’m A Celebrity, camping out in the Australian jungle alongside the likes of Sam Thompson and Josie Gibson. He lasted 17 days.
During the experience, he was stuck on a diet of mainly rice and beans, which plenty of I’m A Celebrity alumni have complained about in the past, with some even hoping there was real food waiting for them when cameras weren’t rolling.
When he returned to his social media, Fred opened up about getting back into exercise, and the restrictive diet he was on while in the jungle.
He wrote: ‘Back training today for the first time since I got out from the jungle. While I was in there I trained everyday for 20 mins. Basic stuff – #301 push ups #100 squats #100 reverse squats. A set on the minute for 20 minutes.’
He went on: ‘The low calorie diet of rice and beans really takes its toll on the body after a while. We were all getting smaller by the day.
‘I lost quite a bit of weight but not as much as I would have done if I did not exercise. Keeping active and staying strong never made more sense!

‘But today was hard. I pushed through. I know what I need to do – build my muscles up again. It will take a little time. I’m still about 73.8kgs which is 3kgs less than when I left for Australia. The stomach shrinks to cope with hunger and so now I eat much less as a result 😳🤷🏻♂️😂.’
Over in EastEnders, it’s going to be quite the week for Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty), who has just given birth after going into labour in a taco van.
This is Whit’s final storyline in the BBC One soap, as Shona McGarty will soon leave the show after 16 years.
Some viewers will be happy to know there reportedly won’t be any more politicians in the jungle, but is that enough? (Picture: James Gourley/ITV/Shutterstock) I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is reportedly set to ban politicians from entering the jungle after a warning from […]
iI’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is reportedly set to ban politicians from entering the jungle after a warning from TV watchdog Ofcom. But Women’s Aid have warned the move isn’t enough.
Bosses for the reality programme, fronted by Ant and Dec, are said to have ditched plans to include another politician in the jungle.
The likes of national treasures Lioness Jill Scott and reigning champion Sam Thompson have all taken part in bushtucker trials in recent years, as have Matt Hancock and Nigel Farage, who was reportedly the highest-paid campmate ever.
And after viewers threatened to boycott, there may be no more politicians in the jungle but what about other controversial candidates, and even accused abusers?
Women’s Aid has urged the broadcaster to do more, asking TV producers to show that domestic abuse ‘won’t be ignored or tolerated’ and stop ‘ignoring a proven track record of violence against women’ by casting certain stars.
Teresa Parker, head of media at Women’s Aid, told Metro.co.uk: ‘Despite the raise in awareness around domestic abuse, unfortunately we are still seeing reality TV producers casting known abusers on their shows, often ignoring a proven track record of violence against women.
‘This demonstrates an ongoing lack of understanding of the harmful message this sends out, and the impact on those directly affected by the abuser of seeing them included on a reality show, especially when no acknowledgement of the abuse is made, or remorse shown by the perpetrator.
‘It is vital that producers, when appointing candidates for any reality TV show, are mindful of the impact that seeing these men can have on women who have survived domestic abuse and how they will feel watching a known abuser on TV on a nightly basis, for the sake of entertainment.
‘At Women’s Aid we would urge the producers to consider how they approach this, as for many survivors of abuse, the inclusion of men convicted of abuse in entertainment programmes will already be a sign that these crimes are not taken seriously – the entertainment industry has to consider the impact on women of who they give a platform to and derive entertainment from.
‘Reality TV has a huge reach, often amongst young people, who are developing their understanding of what behaviour is acceptable in relationships. To end domestic abuse we have to show it won’t be ignored or tolerated, and TV producers have a role to play in this as much as anyone else.’
This comes after sources claimed ITV bosses were making a change in casting for I’m A Celebrity, with an insider reporting: ‘It was already highly doubtful that another political type would be cast for I’m A Celeb after the backlash last time, particularly to Farage but also the kickback to Hancock.
‘They also change up the playbook every year to keep things fresh.’
Former health secretary Hancock hit headlines during the pandemic, when it was revealed he broke his own rules after CCTV was leaked showing him kissing his former aide Gina Coladangelo when social distancing measures were still in place.
He resigned and returned to backbenches, only to have his whip suspended when he joined I’m A Celebrity.
Meanwhile, GB News host Farage sparked outrage before going into the jungle, and even more on the way out, when his use of a ‘homophobic racial slur’ in a private video message was exposed (and he also exposed his bum).
But it’s not just politicians on I’m A Celebrity that have sparked concern, especially for Women’s Aid, who issued a statement in 2022, posting on X: ‘Imagine experiencing gaslighting by a partner, undergoing therapy, and then watching that person garner sympathy on national TV?’
At the time, Seann Walsh was in the jungle, following his cheating scandal that landed him in hot water on Strictly in 2018, when he kissed his married professional partner Katya Jones while in a relationship with actress Rebecca Humphries.
After the kiss made headlines in the media, Seann’s now ex-girlfriend Rebecca shared that when she questioned if anything ‘inappropriate’ was going on, ‘he aggressively, and repeatedly, called me a psycho/nuts/mental. As he has done countless times throughout our relationship when I’ve questioned his inappropriate, hurtful behaviour’.
Women’s Aid latest warning comes after Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith entered Celebrity Big Brother despite his history of domestic violence.
Just a day after giving a charged abuser the biggest platform it had at the time, ITV launched its campaign to combat domestic violence.
At one point on the show, Goldsmith wept over his actions in the past that turned him into a ‘national villain’.
Those actions in question included attacking his wife Julie-Ann Goldsmith and knocking her to the ground in a drunken row in 2017.
The couple had been arguing about his drug use and after he was slapped, Goldsmith then punched his wife with a ‘left hook’ after which she fell to the floor, smacking her head on the pavement, and was unconscious for about 15 seconds before coming to.
In court, he later admitted one charge of assault by beating and was handed a 12-month community order with 20 rehab sessions to ensure ‘this sort of loutish behaviour does not reoccur.’
It had previously been claimed that bosses were vowing this huge change, with politicians including Edwina Currie and Stanley Johnson having starred on the reality programme in the past too.
And while Johnson, the father of the former Prime Minister wasn’t a politician when he was in the jungle, he was certainly no less controversial, having allegedly broken his ex-wife Charlotte’s nose.
The reported decision to ditch politicians comes after new guidance issued by TV regulator Ofcom, considering I’m A Celebrity may air around the time during of a General Election.
The insider continued to The Sun: ‘The timings of the General Election are just too much of a headache and it was the final straw.
‘Of course, casting is in its early stages and never say never, but they are extremely unlikely to go down that road.’
The publication notes that Ofcom has also sent a warning to TV and radio stations over breaking impartiality rules during election campaigning.
‘If broadcasters want to take the risk of having a high-profile politician, who’s not standing for a seat hosting a programme, they’re going to have to work bloody hard to make sure that those programmes are duly impartial,’ Ofcom’s Broadcasting and Media Group Director, Cristina Nicolotti Squires, said.
She added: ‘And we will come down on them like a ton of bricks [if they aren’t].’
A spokesperson for ITV previously said: ‘Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity are speculation.’
While Hancock finished in third and Farage followed in his footsteps in the same position, Ant and Dec were among those calling for ‘a year without any politicians’.
Dec said last year: ‘I think we do a year without any politicians,’ with Ant replying: ‘Agreed, agreed, agreed.’
Meanwhile, comedians London Hughes and Katherine Ryan were outspoken on the dangers of having Farage and Hancock appear on the show.
Addressing the former Ukip leader’s stint on the show, London said that if she were to be included in a line-up alongside Farage, she’d quit immediately and sue ITV in the process.
‘If I went on I’m A Celebrity and found out I was on the show with Nigel Farage, I’d leave and sue for racial negligence… but that’s just me,’ she remarked.
‘I’d say that I’m quite shocked that ITV is platforming a racist as a form of entertainment, but nothing really surprises me anymore,’ she added.
‘Quick, there’s another hate baiting c**t available,’ Kathy Burke also commented at the time.
And Katherine told us: ‘I vehemently am against glorifying people like Matt Hancock and Nigel Farage and reducing them to light entertainment fodder when I think that they’re very dangerous people who have directly hurt lots of families.’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is available to watch on ITVX.

Shaun Ryder admitted to gatecrashing a funeral and taking drugs in a coffin (Picture: ITV/Rex/Shutterstock) I’m A Celebrity star Shaun Ryder has admitted he once took drugs inside someone’s coffin – but was too high to remember it. The 61-year-old said the ‘wild’ night happened […]
iI’m A Celebrity star Shaun Ryder has admitted he once took drugs inside someone’s coffin – but was too high to remember it.
The 61-year-old said the ‘wild’ night happened when he flew to Brazil with his band Happy Mondays to perform at the Rock in Rio festival in 1991.
The 80s rock band had a drug-fuelled time in the South American country with Shaun admitting the partying started ‘before we got off the plane.’
One evening in Rio, Shaun said that he apparently snorted cocaine inside a random person’s coffin at a funeral.
He recalled to The Sun: ‘I only know this as I was told about it. Apparently there was a funeral there and I got in a coffin, but I don’t remember that.
‘They say that I jumped into it, lay down, and started snorting coke. I don’t remember that.’
Shaun previously recalled another drug bender during which he was too out of it to remember a gun being fired on a night out.
He said he woke up the following day in a basement sandwiched between two naked waitresses, with a gun next to him which had been fired three times.
Shaun told the Daily Star: ‘I remember where the gun came from, but there was three bullets missing from the chamber, and I haven’t a f***ing clue where the bullets ended up.’
The singer famously battled with drug addiction throughout his career, with his heroin habit leading to the break-up of the Happy Mondays.
However, he has now been drug-free for 20 years.
Shaun previously said his drug of choice at the time was the tranquiliser temazepam – and it totally warped his sense of time.
He told the Daily Star: ‘That three years from 1995 to 1998, looking back, just doesn’t make sense time-wise.
‘When we came out the other side, it was actually three years later and we were like, “Where have we been for the last three years?”’
Shaun credited cycling with helping him to quit drugs.
He said: ‘It was cycling that got me off drugs. I’d get on my bike very early in the morning and keep cycling until very late at night, day after day, until it was out of the system.
‘I was pedalling from 8am until 11pm. But once that’s done, you still have to deal with the mental stuff.’
Shaun first appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2010 and was runner-up to Queen of the Jungle Stacey Solomon.
He later appeared in the all-stars spin-off, I’m A Celebrity South Africa, in 2023 and was the first to be eliminated along with Gillian McKeith.
I’m A Celebrity is available to stream on ITVX.
